Driving across America in 1993, brothers Ben and Christian Hattemer set in motion the beginnings of a truly unique concept -- a family run BBQ restaurant that pulls together all the best tastes and styles they encountered along the way. With their father Jimmy in tow, they trekked from North Carolina to Tennessee, Missouri and Texas.
Life's road took the brothers in different directions for years, but their passion for a family run business never faded. Sadly, Jimmy passed away before seeing the brothers succeed.
Jimmy's BBQ opened for business February, 2006.
Ben, with his love of people and management experience, runs the "front-of-the-house," while Christian, with years of cooking experience and commitment to serving only the best tasting BBQ, mans the smokers.
